Scott Jones

GBDS, Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Scott was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and raised in Allentown, PA where he now lives. He attended Wm Allen High School and graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA, Scott attended Bethlehem Business School, University of Delaware, Emory University and Sonoma State University and is a graduate of GMU / Northwood Institute / Sales & Marketing in Flint, Michigan. For over thirty years, Scott was with Jack Jones Buick in Bethlehem, PA where he acted as Partner / General Manager 1981-1993 and then as Dealer / President from 1994-2006. In early 2007, Scott joined Warner Benefits as its Vice President-Sales & Marketing. Scott earned his Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) designation in 2009. He holds a Pennsylvania / New Jersey Resident Producer license for Accident and Health, Life, Disability and Fixed Annuities.

Active in his community, Scott serves as the chairman of the Donley Awards for Excellence which honors the top 30 high school seniors in the Lehigh Valley. He is a member of Free and Accepted Masons 32nd Degree Lodge #561, Rajah Shriners and Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Freemasonry. His is also a 32 year member of the National Ski Patrol System and Blue Mountain Ski Patrol, certified as a Senior NSP Patroller, Earned NSP National #9312 honors, Eastern PA NSP Regional Treasurer Nine Years, certified as a First Responder, certified in Outdoor Emergency Care, certified as an Alpine Toboggan Instructor, certified in Avalanche and Mountaineering, certified BLS CPR/AED Instructor and certified PA Emergency System. He is very involved as a member of Saucon Valley Country Club, serving presently on the Executive Board, Second term of Board of Governors, Membership Chairman, Men’s Bowling League Chairman and Health & Safety Committee member, previously as Golf Chairman and Recreation Chairman. He is currently a member of the Mercantile, Coplay Saegerbund, Route 100 Shooting Clays, United States Bowwing Congress and Bethlehem Club. Scott resides with his wife, Joanne and they are the parents of three grown children, Heather, Michelle and Ryan. His other interests include spending time with his family, golf, skiing, bowling and traveling. Scott is also an avid baseball & hockey fan.
